25th Frame Productions is the shared vision of two talented professionals Rommel Shunmugam and Vimala Rajkumari for the creation of meaningful and distinctive film, television and video productions. The team at 25th Frame has two decades of television experience making award winning programmers for national and international channels. Their repertoire ranges from music based programmes to wildlife films.
...started his career as an investigative reporter with "Parakh" India 's topmost current affairs program. His passion for environment and wildlife issues led him to work on more than a hundred episodes of the Panda award winning series "Living on the Edge." The series with its hidden camera exposes and aggressive investigative reporting set new standards of environment journalism in India . Rommel was closely associated with the planning and execution of India 's pioneering reality show "Hospital" on the BBC Channel. He spent a year following a pride of Asiatic lions in the semi-arid Gir forests of Gujarat in Western India . "The Lions of Gir" was among the finalist at the Wildscreen film festival in Bristol (2002).
...is a graduate in English Literature from Delhi University chose television as a career at a time when the introduction of satellite television had created a media revolution in India . Starting as a trainee for a leading production house, TV18, she has had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in national and international television. As associate head of bureau at Channel [V] Delhi , Vimala was also at the forefront of innovative "youth programming" adopted by this music channel.
